Please explain you day-to-day role at Innerme Studios.
I am the owner and one of the pole dancing classes instructors. I do everything: reception, maintenance, cleaning, hiring. accounting, lead instructor, customer service, due diligence, research on new classes, financial analysis, business analysis, social media, etc. Whatever needs to be done.
How did you arrive at Innerme Studios?
I founded IMS in 2009 as a result of a lay-off from an associate position in Private Equity. I was living in Philadelphia, had recently taken up pole dancing classes and had always been a happy student in group classes at the gym. I am originally from Houston and decided to combine my love for my hometown and my hobbies into a great business idea.
